A FAMILY fun day at The Ship in Trowbridge on Saturday raised £600 to be split between two charities.
Organised by friends Stacey Harper and Ellen Campbell, the day featured a range of games and activities throughout the day for adults and children, before a disco and karaoke in the evening.
Miss Harper, 24, said: “My friend’s dad has been diagnosed with cancer and there’s not a lot you can do to help, other than what we thought, to raise money for charity. Also my best friend’s little girl has used West Wilts Portage Service so we also wanted to fundraise for them and their charity.”
In total the day raised £610, which will be divided equally between Leukaemia and Lymp-homa Research and West Wiltshire Portage Service.
