Improved internet speeds coming to Trowbridge

Virgin Media customers in Trowbridge will be able to take advantage of improved internet servcies as the company increase their speeds in the area.

They are increasing their speeds to 120MB which will allow users to download a full music album in 4.4 seconds and a high definition film in around five minutes.

The fast internet access supports the Government’s ambition to ensure people across the country can access the best broadband in Europe by 2015.

Jon James, executive director of broadband at Virgin Media, said: “Virgin Media has driven the development of faster broadband in the UK and we’re delighted to be boosting our customers’ speeds in Trowbridge once again.

“Following our Double Speeds programme, all our customers will be super fast as standard and ready to make the most of all the incredible digital entertainment services that exist now and will in the future.
