People are wanted to be part of Healthwatch, the new watchdog for patients and users of social care.
Under the Government’s shake-up of the NHS, Health-watch Wiltshire will replace Wiltshire Involvement Network (WIN).
It will be an independent voice and advocate for people who use health and care services, gathering views and experiences to pass on to commissioners and providers of services.
Healthwatch Wiltshire will be established next April and a chairperson and four executive members are needed to form a shadow board during the transition period.
While the positions are voluntary and unpaid, reasonable expenses will be consid- ered. It is expected that successful applicants will work four to six days a month.
