Investigation under way after man and a woman found shot dead in Devizes

A  man and woman were found shot dead at a house in Devizes yesterday.

The bodies were found shortly before 11am after police were called to a house at in Moonraker, just off London Road by the Travelodge.

The case is being investigated by the major crime unit but Wiltshire Police said officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

Cordons have been placed around the scene which is expected to cause disruption in the area as officers conduct their enquiries.

Police say next of kin had been informed, but the names of the man and woman have not been released.
