A-levels: St Augustine's Catholic College

Alistair Fisher, from Devizes, celebrated being accepted into Cambridge University this morning to studying computer science thanks to his results at St Augustine's School, Trowbridge.
He said: “I am really pleased with my results. It was close, I got in by four marks. I was really nervous this morning and got up at 7.30am.”
He achieved A* in maths and chemistry and an A in physics and further maths.
Jamie Chappell, from Beanacre, has been accepted into Imperial College London, to study physics.
“I was very nervous because you never know. But I am really pleased with my results and I can now relax and enjoy the summer," he said.
He gained A* in maths, further maths and physics, getting a B in chemistry.
Jesssica Jeffery, of Keevil, has been accepted at Cardiff University to study Spanish and Italian.
“I am surprised but happy. I didn’t expect to get into my top university. I didn’t get much sleep and kept refreshing the results page on line," she said.
Jessica gained an A in Spanish, B in psychology and C in biology.
Chris Brown, of Frome, has been accepted at Lancaster to study environmental science with A grades in geography, chemistry and biology but is taking a gap year which will involve a 10-day expedition to the North Pole with a Scout group.
He said: “I'm really happy. I can now plan a bit more for next year. I have been here since Year 7 so it’s a nice end and send off."
