Remarkable mother Gemma Holmes, who gave birth to her miracle baby Rueben in May, will appear on ITV’s This Morning today to talk about her incredible story.

Miss Holmes, 26, was left with severe head and neck injuries and needing a wheelchair after her motor scooter collided with a parked car on the A350 at Chalford, near Westbury, last year.

It was only while she was being treated by doctors for her injuries in hospital that she found out she was pregnant. She gave birth to Rueben at the Royal United Hospital in Bath on May 2.

Miss Holmes, who now lives in Hilperton, underwent extensive physiotherapy after the crash, but doctors were unable to carry out a major operation on her back because of her pregnancy.
