The West Wiltshire branch of the National Childbirth Trust is keen to raise more awareness of the help it offers new parents, after giving £160 to children’s activity centre Splodges.
The local group raised the money for Splodges through a recent Nearly New Sale, with the centre using it to buy feeding pillows, throws for the floor, a sofa and bean bags.
Membership co-ordinator Jenny Tippin said: “We go to Splodges on Fridays so we can let new mums know that we are there if they need us.”
The NCT is at Splodges on Woodland Industrial Estate, Eden Vale Road, Westbury, on Fridays from 12.30-2pm.
