A Calne school groundsman who went missing on Tuesday has been found, safe and well.
Richard Forty, 24, was last seen on Tuesday at about 10am at St Mary’s School in Calne, where he was worked for three years.
The school grounds were searched on Tuesday night by school staff and then by Wiltshire Police, who also carried out door knocks around his home address on Wednesday.
His safe return was confirmed by St Mary’s School and Wiltshire Police this morning, who thanked members of the public for assisting with police enquiries and the media for publicising the force's appeal for information.
Stephanie Bryan, the school’s marketing and communications manager, said: “I have been informed that Richard Forty has been found, safe and sound and is now with his family.”
