Wiltshire College is holding advice sessions for those getting their A-level results today.

All campuses will have career advisors on hand from 1pm to 4pm today and tomorrow.

John Adams, vice principal of higher education and development at Wiltshire College, said: “Results day can be very stressful, particularly if students don’t get the results that they expected, but it is important to take the time and explore the options available, including alternatives to the traditional full-time degree programmes.

“At Wiltshire College we offer vocational higher education with higher nationals and foundation degrees and honours top-ups as well as full honours degrees.

“And a number of our programmes are available to study part-time, giving students the option to gain employment, start building their career and earning money while continuing their education.”

He said most of their courses range from £4,500 to £7,500 per year.
