A Warminster man has been charged with threatening behaviour and making a hoax bomb after Wiltshire Police found several small explosives in Eastleigh Wood.
Neil Prince, 51, from Bishopstrow, was due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court today.
Police found the devices in the Bishopstrow green land at 5pm on Saturday.
Prince was subsequently arrested, taken to Melksham Police Station and was in custody.
A police cordon has been in place, at the privately-owned field, in the wood for two days and a bomb disposal team was on site this morning.
The police are advising the public to stay away from the cordoned area.
Prince has also been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon. This two charges relate to an incident in October 2013.
