A man accused of sexually abusing two females in alleged incidents more than 20 years apart has been released on bail by a judge.
Christopher Howell, 66, is said to have indecently assaulting the first complainant in 1981 or 1982.
He is alleged to have sexually assaulted the other female between 2005 and 2010.
No charges were formally put to Howell, of Church Fields, Trowbridge, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday and he did not enter any pleas.
Judge Peter Blair QC adjourned the case until Friday, January 30, and released him on conditional bail until then.
