Wiltshire Times: Oasis take to the great outdoors

Rumours continue to grow that Liam and Noel Gallagher have made peace and Oasis will soon be back together.

It is thought the Manc Britpop band will play a series of shows next year. As an April Fools' Day prank the Adver published a story about the band playing a comeback show at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre.

Search for 'Syria-bound family'

Wiltshire Times: Thames Valley Police responded to reports of a gunman 'making threats'

Police are continuing an international search for a Muslim couple with four young children who are feared to have fled England for Syria.

Members of Asif Malik's distraught family yesterday issued a desperate plea for the 31-year-old to come home, after the six vanished from their home in Slough.

Mr Malik, his partner Sara Kiran and their children aged seven to one were seen boarding a ferry from Dover to Calais on April 8 before travelling south through Europe by train, according to Thames Valley Police.

Liverpool suffer Villa shock

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes the club will comeback from their FA Cup Semi-Final defeat to Aston Villa yesterday.

The reds lost 2-1 at Wembley to Tim Sherwood’s side. The defeat means Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will finish his last season with the club without winning a trophy.

Spacey’s theatre impact honoured

Wiltshire Times: Kevin Spacey dazzled City brokers at a charity fundraiser

Stars of stage and screen attended a gala ceremony at the weekend honouring the achievements of Kevin Spacey during his time as The Old Vic Theatre’s director.

During his 12 years at the helm, Spacey, has directed two productions and starred in nine, including a worldwide tour of Shakespeare's Richard III.

Women will hit the delete button five times before settling on a selfie which is good enough to post online, according to a survey.

The sixth selfie is the one that women would use on average, while men were happy with their image on the fourth try.
