THE record breaking profit from last year's Emergency Services Show will be awarded to a number of charities at the police headquarters in Devizes today. (April 23)

More than £30,000 was raised by the 2014 event and it will be divided between a number of good causes including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Swift Medics, WILSAR, Great Western Air Ambulance, the Bobby Van Trust and three blood bike charities.

As well as chief officers from Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, South Western Ambulance Service and Highways England, guests will include representatives of the main show sponsors, Vodafone and Grist Group.

The Emergency Services Show is organised by a committee of volunteers drawn from the blue light services. This year’s event – to be held at Hullavington Airfield near Chippenham on Sunday, September 13 – will be the tenth, and the team is already busy planning a number of anniversary celebrations.

On-line trader/exhibitor registration and general ticket sales will open next month at www.emergencyservicesshow.com
