THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning this morning as gusts of 50 to 60mph winds are expected in parts of Wiltshire this morning.

A spokesman said: "A narrow band of heavy rain will be accompanied by squally winds as it moves east across southern and southeastern parts of England over the next few hours.

"Gusts of 50-60 mph are possible in places.

"The public are advised to take extra care due to the localised squally winds and heavy rain."

The yellow warning, for Dorset, Wiltshire, Bournemouth, Poole and Swindon, is valid from 10.30am until 3pm today.
