WHAT is being billed as a 'dairy crisis meeting' takes place in Royal Wootton Bassett tonight.

The talk, which NFU dairy chairman Robert Harrison is expected to address, will take place at Charmin’s in Royal Wootton Bassett High Street at 7.30pm.

Organiser Ali Potter said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to have a say. It is aimed at the dairy industry, but other factors will be discussed such as marketing and labelling to make things easier to push British farming.

“It will be an informative talk regarding the dairy industry particularly for the young farmers.

"There will also be a question and answer session so you have a voice in the future of farming, your ideas, thoughts and concerns will be heard.

“This meeting is open to all, so please bring your family and friends. We are extremely lucky to have secured a meeting with Robert, with his diary so booked up as he’s just returned from Brussels.”
