Engineers from Network Rail are on site working to resolve the problem.
RAIL passengers travelling between Swindon and Westbury will have their services affected until 2pm.
National Rail have said a signalling problem between Chippenham and Melksham is disrupting the service on the line and alternative transport is now in place.

Taxis are running for passengers travelling to and from Melksham.
Passengers are advised to travel via Bath Spa.
