THOUSANDS of motorcyclists flocked to the centre of Salisbury on Sunday for the 15th Spring Surprise Bike Show.
The city's Market Place was packed with motorcycles from across the south of England in one of the biggest free events of its kind.
This was a well-marshalled event that had more trade stands than ever before.
Machines, some worth thousands of pounds, were on show for all to see.
Blue Boar Row was closed to traffic between 8am and 4pm, as was the first part of Endless Street and the first part of Winchester Street, which both lead off from Blue Boar Row.
Those who attended said the turnout was "unbelievable". The event was organised by the Salisbury Motorcycle Action Group.
Among those there was Christ Yeatman, who commented on Facebook: "Great day at the Salisbury Show today. Well done."
Amanda Bennett was of the same opinion: "Fantastic day. Hats off to all involved."
