Wiltshire Police arrested a 29-year-old man in Trowle
ARMED officers arrested a 29-year-old man in Trowle on Wednesday morning on behalf of Avon & Somerset Police.
The man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary dating back to an incident on July 24 in Radstock, Somerset. He was taken into custody at Melksham.
Police confirmed that sightings of the officers in Westbury were linked to the Trowle arrest after many concerned residents took to social media to voice their concerns at seeing the armed units.
As a result of the arrest, the man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
