PARKING by the main entrance of Bath's Royal United Hospital will be suspended next week when essential road repairs take place.
Work is taking place outside the RUH main entrance from Monday, August 22, until Friday, August 26.
Bus services will run as normal and drivers will still be able to drop passengers at the main entrance before parking elsewhere.
Diversion signs will be in place and traffic marshals will be on site to help patients and visitors.
John Moore, RUH Building Surveyor, said: “We’ll be working closely with our contractors to complete this project as quickly as possible and with the minimum of disruption.
"We apologise for any inconvenience, but it is essential this road repair and resurfacing work takes place before the winter.”
All ambulances bringing non-emergency patients will use the Penn Hill Road entrance. They will be directed to a designated parking area at the rear of the west block.
