POLICE say a missing Gloucester man may be heading to Wiltshire after he was spotted on Sunday morning.

Scot Holder, 39, was last seen near his home in Quedgeley at around 4am on Thursday after being dropped off from work.

He has not been seen or heard from since, which is out of character.

Police and Scot's family are growing increasingly concerned for him.

A member of the public responding to an earlier appeal, reported seeing a man fitting Scot's description in Stroud between 9.45am and 10.10am on Sunday morning.

He was sitting on a kerb near to the mini-roundabout at the junction of Painswick Road and Stratford Road. He was carrying a rucksack and had several days beard growth.

A spokesman for the Gloucestershire force said: "Police are confident it was Scot.

"Taking into consideration the previous sighting in Brookthorpe and the route of travel so far, people in neighbouring Wiltshire are also being asked to look out for him."

Scot is white, slim, 6ft 3ins in height and has short black hair.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and black trainers.

Scot has tattoos on his arms – a Celtic band and skulls on his left arm and Chinese writing and the name 'Rachel' on his right arm.

Anyone who sees Scot should call police on 101 quoting incident 165 of Thursday, September 1, immediately or 999.
