CUSTOMERS of a heating company which works across Wiltshire have helped the firm hit their £10,000 fundraising target to support the Bristol Children's Hospital, where youngsters from the county with serious illness receive treatment.

As part of the celebration of 30 years in business, Gregor Heating, Electrical and Renewable Energy, who are based near Bristol, set themselves the ambitious target to boost Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal.

The 120-strong workforce held events in the office every last Friday of the month, and ran a huge Family Fun Day at Bath racecourse. The company also gave £5 for every private boiler installation and £1 for every private boiler service completed in 2016, to help achieve the target.

MD Steve Gregor said, “As a company, we have always looked for ways to give back to the local community that has supported us over the years and for our 30th birthday we really wanted to do something special. The stories of the families supported by Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal really touched the hearts of the team and we were determined to aid that support.”

“It has been great this year to see everyone in the team working together to achieve our target. Thank you to everyone, especially our loyal customers, for all your support. We are delighted to have helped such a worthwhile cause.”
