DETECTIVES have moved their attention to another area of Trowbridge in the hopes of finding vital clues after a man was killed in Trowbridge over the weekend.

Now focusing on the area surrounding Poplar Lane, Wiltshire Police are continuing to search hedgerows, drains and bins in an attempt to understand why 25-year-old Jordan Taylor from Hilperton and a friend were attacked in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Tributes to Mr Taylor, who died from stab wounds outside Trowbridge Community Hospital, have been posted on social media, while the first floral tributes were laid this morning outside the hospital and at the top of Prospect Place and Timbrell Street, which was reopened to the public yesterday afternoon.

One bunch of flowers left by Shawnee says: "Jord, thanks for all the good times we've shared! Will miss you and your cheeky smile!

"Hope you are partying up there. Always thinking of you mate. Till we meet again..."

Wiltshire Police have set up a major incident room at Trowbridge Police Station and anyone with information should call 101.
