Operation Christmas Child starting with a celebration

This year’s Operation Christmas Child is being launched in Melksham tomorrow, at an event which will also celebrate 20 years of the charity appeal. The launch party, between 10.30am and 1pm, will be held at Melksham Assembly Hall and will include photographs from last year’s appeal, during which shoeboxes of gifts and toys were delivered to children in Ukraine. Refreshments will be available and craft stalls set up. Information on how to get involved with this year’s shoebox campaign will be on offer.
