Blood donations in Trowbridge

Blood donation sessions are due to take place on Tuesday, at the Longfield Community Centre, Weavers Drive, Trowbridge, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm and again from 4.30pm to 7.15pm.

Oh come on WT, you could have put a bit more into this snippet.
Something for those who have never donated before; how easy it is to do; phone number to talk to someone & book it; how bad blood stock might currently be & how much is needed; how much is used in a transfusion, etc & how often you are allowed to donate, or just how superb the nursing staff all are. And there’s free tea/coffee & biscuits to say thank you, well there was last time I went.

I was once told that up to 39 pints of blood plasma per hour may be used for a serious burns victim – no idea if that’s correct, but it’s a lot of donations.

oh, & please don't be annoyed with them if you turn up & find you've been ill too recently to donate this time, it's not their fault!
