Bradford on Avon’s dancing man, Ben Hammond, has been forced to postpone his challenge due to a series of unfortunate events.

The 34-year-old was knocked down by a drink driver in Somerset, back in October, just hours after passing through Bradford. He was forced to continue his 800 mile journey, from John O’Groats to Land’s End, on weekends.

He reached as far as Taunton, but an injury to his foot and the constant change in plans has left him with no choice but to complete the journey in February.

He started off in John O’Groats on August 13 and aimed to raise £50,000, to be split between Amnesty International, Burma Campaign UK, Partners Relief and Development, Learn Burma and Prospect Burma.
