Police are appealing for information about thieves who stole Christmas trees and garden ornaments worth about £800 from Allington Bar Farm near Chippenham.
The farm shop is on the A420 and CCTV footage from the farm shows the suspects’ vehicle is parked on the side of the road while the theft was carried out at 3.30am on December 1.
Four males were seen entering the yard and about ten Christmas trees and 15 items of stonework from the garden shop were stolen.
Tim Reynolds, a partner at the farm shop, said: “We have got thousands of Christmas trees so it will not affect us supplying people. Thefts affect the profitability of the business and it’s a bit galling.
“The CCTV footage shows cars travelling past the farm shop on the A420 when the theft was carried out so there might be people who saw something suspicious.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Chippenham Police on 101.
