Sudden rainfall prompted a series of flood alerts across Trowbridge last Friday, with fire crews called out to deal with several incidents.
A town crew spent two hours clearing floodwater from a house in Hoggington Lane, Southwick.
Two water pumps and a wet conditions vacuum cleaner were used in the clear-up from 4.14pm to 6.30pm.
At the same time, Hoopers Pool in Southwick was temporarily closed due to flooding after a fire officer was dispatched to check the lane.
An inspection took place on Farm Close, Trowbridge, after neighbours raised concerns about a waterlogged field, while at 2.15pm, the fire service was called in when floodwater breached the driveway, garden and garage of a property in Hilperton. A crew used a portable pump to prevent it getting into the house.
Many drains and waterways have remained clogged following the recent heavy floods, resulting in fears of further problems.
