The A350 was closed for several hours on New Year’s Day, after a two-vehicle collision at the Keevil turning.
Police were called at 11.18am, after a blue Peugeot 306 car carrying five men in their 20s collided with a blue Peugeot 307 car driven by a woman. Both drivers and three of the passengers were unhurt, but one rear passenger suffered abdominal injuries, including a fractured pelvis.
Firefighters from Trow-bridge spent 45 minutes cutting the man free and he was was taken to hospital in Bath. The road re-opened at 2.24pm.
