Health trust in governors call

THE organisation merging with the Great Western Ambulance Service (GWAS) is holding workshops for people interested in becoming governors of the Foundation Trust.
GWAS will merge with South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust on February 1.
There will be elections for governors to represent Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Avon in March and April.
The governors will monitor the trust and hold its board of directors to account.
Information events on becoming a governor are being held today at Almondsbury, near Bristol, and on January 18 at Wroughton, near Swindon. To book a place, call 01392 261672.
