Horse rescued from stile leap

Police and fire officers freed a trapped horse in Yarnbrook in the early hours of Sunday. A passer-by saw the animal stuck straddling a stile in Westbury Road and alerted police at 12.50am. Working with a rural safety officer from Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, officers were able to release the uninjured horse and take it back into its field.
