Peter Black site land discussed

The future of the old Peter Black site will be discussed at the Trowbridge Area Board meeting in The Atrium in County Hall at 7pm on Thursday. There will also be an update about plans for a joint GP’s surgery and aprimary school in the east of the town.

..... planning department do n,t make me laugh.next they will be planning a sensory garden next door to the sewer woks, oh that does nt bring in money to pay for their nice buffet lunched meetings.

all of which might increase usage of the Bythesea Road car park so that we can feel we are doing something useful when waiting at the red lights instead of hitherto for no apparent reason (though I doubt it would be any different at night.).

Who set the sequence on those then eh? Changing green to red on approach when you're the only vehicle on Bythesea Road at 11pm? and some apparently bizarre sequencing at other times too.
Symptomatic of Wiltshire Council unfortunately.
When will Wiltshire Council wake up and start doing practical things rather than hosing £200, 000 a year on "Transforming Trowbridge" and other pointless penpusher job creation schemes.
They can make a start by making Longfield roundabout traffic lights peak hours only - think of the carbon they'll save from powering the lights and the idling car, van, truck and bus fuel....
