The court hearing for Richard Newton, the Melksham man accused of murdering his wife on Sunday has been postponed due to heavy snow.
Newton, 51, of Barnes Wallis Close was due to appear before Bristol Crown Court this morning, but his hearing has been delayed after the court was closed.
He was arrested on Monday in Devon after his wife Suzanne 45, was found dead at their home in Bowerhill.
He was initially taken to hospital in Taunton where he spent the night under police guard, but was brought to Melksham police station for questioning on Tuesday and later charged with her murder.
