SELWOOD Housing is looking for tenants to join its six focus groups working with their staff to improve the organisation’s services.
The groups are: Neigh-bourhoods and Tenancies; Homes – specialising in repairs; No Barriers – which ensures everyone is represented; Community Development; Working Together – which is Selwood’s in-house magazine; and Development, focusing on building new homes.
The groups are the latest part of a reform to the way Selwood represents its tenants which saw a volunteer resident association, the Selwood Tenants’ Voice, axed in November.
In January, tenants were encouraged to join a new scrutiny panel looking at the association’s services and become ‘customer service inspectors’.
