New Box care home to open with family fun day

A new care home will throw opens its doors with an open weekend for all the family.
Brunel House Care Home, in Box, is the latest development to be created by Maria Mallaband Care Group (MMCG).
As part of the open weekend, which starts at 2pm on Friday, members of the community will have the opportunity to take a VIP tour of the new care home, explore the landscaped gardens and speak to members of Brunel House’s care team. From 5pm to 7pm, guests will also be treated to aa wine and cheese tasting evening, with live entertainment and music.
And from 1.30pm on Saturday, the new home will host a family fun day, with children’s entertainment, sweet bar and complimentary refreshments throughout the day.
Brunel House Care Home, located off London Road, specialises in providing a combination of nursing, residential and dementia care for up to 65 elderly residents. Its on-site facilities include cafés, a cinema room, dining rooms, reminiscence room and a hair and beauty salon.
