Corsham's annual sci-fi family fun day is getting ready for take-off, with new guests and a range of activities announced.
The event, now in its fifth year, will take place at the Corsham School on April 27, to raise money for disability charity PHAB, Young Carers Wiltshire, and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Corsham Town Council has granted free parking for the day, which will include the chance for an ‘Audience with the Daleks’, as well as picture opportunities with the many alien characters in attendance.
Guests attending will include Anjli Mohindra, of The Sarah Jane Adventures, Brian Muir, who designed Darth Vader’s helmet, and Matthew Doman, who has played several monsters in Doctor Who.
Event organiser Adrian Davies said: “It should be another great day. We’re going to have a treasure hunt involving some of the shops down town, where first prize will be a Cyberman’s helmet worth about £300.”
Tickets are available from Automattic Comics, on Pickwick Road.
