Pupils from Westwood with Iford Primary School pulled out all the stops at the first Westwood’s Got Talent variety show.

Some 34 pupils, from reception to Year Six, showcased their skills in last Friday’s show, organised by Friends of Westwood and watched by pupils, parents and staff.

Jo Batten, secretary of the Friends, said: “The children were well supported by the community and were incredibly brave. Whether they were involved or not, they all enjoyed it.”

The show was a chance to demonstrate pupils’ talents, so there were no judges or overall winner.

The £325 raised from ticket sales will go towards the upkeep of the school.

A dvd of the show is on sale at the school and has already raised an extra £60 for the cause.
