A-levels: Matravers School, Westbury
Cameron Burnell-Gray, achieved three C grades in geology, maths and geography, and a B for his extended project, and will study civil engineering at Portsmouth University.
He said: “I am really happy with my results. I had checked on line beforehand so I wasn’t as nervous when I came into school.
"I am really looking forward to going into university and I am over the moon with how well I’ve done."
Sam McNeil achieved an A* in biology and A grades in chemistry and geology and will study zoology at Exeter.
He said: “I am really happy with my results. I was quite nervous in the exams but I did feel that I did quite well so I am feeling quite good today.
"It’s been a lot of hard work but now I’m really looking forward to going to university and its great I’ve managed to achieve the right results."
Megan Whittock, who has Btec in travel and tourism equivalent to three A*, said: "I am very chuffed with the results. It's been a hard year and my nan recently passed away so I did this for her.
"I am going on to college to do health and social care but I did get five offers from universities. I was really nervous before hand but I am really happy with the results and we’ll be going out for a big celebration tonight."
Katie Vaughan, has a B in psychology and C grades in philosophy, and geology.
She is going to Cardiff Metropolitan for education studies and hopes to be a primary school teacher.
“I am over the moon with the results," she said.
"I was very nervous beforehand and crying with my mum before I checked the results online but we are going for a meal tonight to celebrate."
