Codford Cupcake Day looks set to return again next year, after this year’s inaugural event was hailed a success by organisers, raising £1,059 for Target Ovarian Cancer Charity and Mims Fund.
The event, held at Codford Village Hall on Saturday, featured children’s cupcake decorating, a bouncy castle, stalls, raffle, BBQ, music and face painting.
There were also cupcake competitions, with the categories including best farm theme cupcake, best children’s cupcake for under-12s, best character cupcake, best vintage design cupcake and best in show.
Adrian Firth, who co-organised the event with partner Nicola Smith, said: “We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us.
“We are definitely looking to do it again next year now, after this year’s success.”
