A charity golf day at Orchardleigh Golf Club in Frome raised £4,000 for the Wessex MS Therapy Centre in Warminster at the end of July.
Fourteen local companies took part in the golf day, which was organised by Nigel and Tricia Winchcombe and their son Ross, who works for Automated Entry Systems in Westbury.
The golf day included a charity auction with items ranging from a signed Wembley seat from Gordon Banks to a signed Bath rugby shirt and a circuit run at Castle Combe race track in an Ariel Atom 300.
The therapy centre offers long term pain management for those suffering from multiple sclerosis, including treatments such as physiotherapy, massage therapy, counselling and yoga.
Therapy centre manager Rosie Eliot said: “Every-body worked really hard and had great fun. A big thank you to everyone involved for making it such a successful event.”
