Lorry driver in court over Corsham death crash

A lorry driver who is accused of causing the death of an 89-year-old man by careless driving has been released on bail by a judge.
Andrew Greenalgh is said to have been behind the wheel of a Seddon Atkinson lorry when it was involved in a collision with Tommy Ford last year.
No charge was put to the 43-year-old, of Dicketts Road, Corsham, and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, November 1 and released Geenalgh on unconditional bail until then.
Mr Ford of Cresswells, died following the accident just after 5pm on Monday, November 26 last year on Valley Road, close to the junction with Spackman Lane.
