Road closures for 1 Yorks Freedom Parade in Warminster

The newly named 1st Battalion, the Yorkshire Regiment will be marching through the streets of Warminster on September 25, with the parade followed by a private service at the Minster Church.
Around 400 troops will take part in the parade marking the change of the regiment's title from 3rd Battalion, the Yorkshire Regiment. It will also celebrate the awarding of the Freedom of the Town to the regiment in 2012.
The route planned will start at Station Road, moving into Market Place, High Street, George Street, Silver Street and Church Street and finish at the Minster Church.
From the roundabout at Sydenhams on Bath Road up to the Minster Church car park the road will remain closed until the end of the church service and dispersal of troops at midday.
A rolling road closure will affect: East Street at the junction of Station Road and Market Place, junction of Station Road and Fairfield Road, junction of Station Road/Market Place/ East Street junction of Weymouth Street/Market Place, junction of High Street/The Close, junction of High Street/Portway/George Street, junction of George Street/Sambourne Road/Silver Street Junction of Ash Walk/Silver Street, junction of Silver Street/West Street/obelisk/Church Street and Bath Road to Sydenhams roundabout.
