Melksham man denies brandishing knife in public

A 61-year-old is to face trial by judge and jury accused of brandishing a knife in a public place.
Michael Brown pleaded not guilty to having a bladed article when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
It is alleged he had the knife close to his home at St Michael's Court in Canon Square, Melksham, on Saturday, May 25.
The case was adjourned to Tuesday, November 5 and Brown was released on conditional bail until then.
