Bradford on Avon grant to help with neighbourhood plan
Bradford on Avon’s Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has received a £6,837 grant from Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning programme to help with professional assistance with the writing of a draft plan.
The grant will also be used to cover costs for printing and website updates when informing the public of the process of the plan during exhibitions.
Neighbourhood planning is designed to help communities shape the future of their areas, which could include determining the location of shops, offices and schools to setting standards of design for new housing.
The consultation on Bradford on Avon Town Council’s application for Neighbourhood Plan Area is open until Wednesday and people can view and make comments on this proposal on the Wiltshire Council website at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplanning.
Comments can also be made by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by writing at Spatial Planning, Economy & Regeneration, Wiltshire Council, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 8JN.
