Fire-battered Trowbridge chippy is serving again
9:00am Saturday 5th October 2013 in Latest News
A Trowbridge chippy is frying high again, six weeks after it was shut by fire damage.
The Codfather, in Church Walk, reopened this week with a new fryer, grills and fridges, following the incident on August 16, which damaged the shop.
Sab and Rita Hultani said they were delighted to be open again and pleased with the support they had received from the community.
Mr Hultani said: “It feels so good to be back in business as it has felt like we have been closed for a long time. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped out doing work to get us back open again.”
The shop has been redecorated during repairs and has added daily roast dinners to its new menu.
The Codfather can be contacted on 01225 774235.
