Open days will be taking place at St Giles Church in Imber from December 27 to January 5, with visitors invited to take a look around and learn more about the historic building and village.
The church will be open to visitors from 11am to 4pm daily, with access to Imber village possible from Warminster, Gore Cross (A360), Bratton and Heytesbury.
Public access to Imber village is restricted to the metalled roads as advertised by the Ministry of Defence.
All other roads and tracks are out of bounds, as are all buildings on the Salisbury Plain Training Area and in Imber village.
The army took over Imber, on the edge of Salisbury Plain, in 1943 to use the area for D-Day training, forcing residents to move out, never to return. It has been used by the military ever since, with access granted to the public a few times each year.
Events organiser Neil Skelton said: “The church will be open for anyone to look around and we have exhibitions about the church and the village. We usually get quite a few visitors after Christmas.”
Tickets are now sold out for the Carol Concert in the church on Saturday, December 21 .
