A 53-YEAR-old woman seen slumped on her mobility scooter has been charged with being drunk in a public place.
A passer-by called for medical help outside Ivy Lane Primary School on Monday morning.
Ambulance staff said that just after 10am they attended a woman on a scooter who was drifting in and out of consciousness.
Police attended at 10.30am and charged Julie Anne Collier, of Charter Road, with being drunk in a public place.
She is due to appear before North West Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court in Chippenham on Thursday, February 20.
