Latest figures on everything from population to child obesity, domestic violence, and pupil achievements will highlight issues facing Westbury community at a special event this month.

The What Matters To You event on February 26 will give information about Westbury to provide local people with an opportunity to have a say on ways of tackling the issues affecting the town.

Ideas will feed into the community plan and the Westbury Area Board will make them a priority for future funding.

The information comes from the Joint Strategic Assessment and has sections on children and young people, community safety, culture, economy, environment, transport, health and well-being and leisure.

Chairman of the area board Russell Hawker said: “It’s really important as many people as possible take part in this event and have their say in moving our community forward.”

Updated population figures are included, as well as results of a local survey which asked residents about some of the most important things facing Wiltshire Council and its partners.
