A 62-year-old man who is accused of dangerous driving and assault faces trial.
John Joseph is said to have been behind the wheel of a Chrysler Voyager when it was driven dangerously on Weymouth Street, Warminster, on Sunday June 30.
And on the same day he is alleged to have assaulted Stephen Bond, causing actual bodily harm.
Joseph, of Uplands Rise, Westbury, pleaded not guilty to both charges when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Tuesday, April 8, released him on unconditional bail until then.
