The new smaller setting of the Masonic Hall did not put people off attending Bradford on Avon’s annual Seedy Sunday event.

The event, in its fourth year, encourages people to swap or purchase seeds to plant in time for spring.

They will then have the opportunity to showcase the results of their green fingered efforts at the Grow It and Show It event in September.

Seedy Sunday has moved to the Masonic Hall while St Margaret’s Hall is being refurbished. Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon and Woolley Apple Juice were just two of the ten stalls on hand offering produce and gardening advice.

Organiser Carol Craft said: “There was a buzzing atmosphere.

“It is important to encourage people to garden as it is good for your physical and mental health. We will have it again next year on the last Sunday of February.”
