A Trowbridge teenager who admitted robbery and having a knife has been remanded in custody by a judge.

Damien Gordon, 19, pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court by video link from Bristol Prison on Friday.

Gordon, of Silver Street, admitted robbing a man of jewellery, money, mobile phone, bank cards and an epilepsy card on Saturday, February 22.

He also pleaded guilty to having a bladed article during the incident at Millhand Villas.

Three other young men also appeared at court accused of taking part in the robbery with him.

No charges were formally put to Luke Brock, 19, Steven Richards, 21, who also appeared by video link and Joshua Simpkins, 20, who was in court in person.

Recorder Alastair Malcolm QC adjourned their cases to Friday, May 23, when they are due to enter their pleas.

He remanded Richards, of no fixed abode, and Brock, of Primmers Place, Westbury, in custody and released Simpkins, of The Paddocks, Westbury, on bail.
